Meet Nurse Jenni
SkinFirst is led by Jennifer Thain, better known as Nurse Jenni.
Jenni is an experienced nurse practitioner and independent prescriber whose clinical background includes working within paediatric emergency care at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, alongside advanced training in clinical assessment, prescribing, medical aesthetics and dermatology.
Her postgraduate dermatology qualification gives her a deeper understanding of the skin, the factors that can affect it and the importance of selecting treatments based on proper assessment rather than appearance alone.
Jenni’s interest in skin health is also personal. Having experienced adult acne herself, she understands how skin concerns can affect confidence and how frustrating it can feel when standard approaches do not provide the hoped-for improvement.
This combination of clinical training and personal understanding shapes the way she treats every patient: with honesty, patience and a focus on long-term skin health.
