UltraLux Pro Is Coming to SkinFirst: 12 Advanced Treatments, One Exciting New Device
There’s something very exciting coming to SkinFirst this September.
We’re introducing the UltraLux Pro to our Warrington clinic – an advanced multi-treatment platform that brings together 12 different treatment applications for the skin, face and body.
For our existing patients, this means an exciting upgrade to the IPL skin and hair treatments already available at SkinFirst. It also allows us to introduce completely new services, including professional tattoo removal and carbon facials, alongside even more options for pigmentation, redness, skin rejuvenation, hair reduction and skin tightening.
But the thing we’re most excited about isn’t simply having more treatments on the menu.
It’s having more ways to personalise your treatment to your skin.
What Is the UltraLux Pro?
UltraLux Pro is an advanced aesthetic treatment platform combining several different technologies within one device.
Rather than being designed to perform one single treatment, it offers 12 dedicated applications using technologies including IPL, SHR hair reduction, radio frequency, ultrasound and sonophoresis, alongside tattoo removal and carbon facial treatments.
That gives us significantly more flexibility when assessing a concern.
One patient may visit us because they’re frustrated by pigmentation and sun damage. Another may be struggling with facial redness. Someone else might want to remove an old tattoo, reduce unwanted hair or simply improve the overall appearance of their skin.
The treatment that is right for one person will not necessarily be right for another – which is exactly why having several technologies available can be so valuable.
At SkinFirst, the device never replaces the consultation. It simply gives Nurse Jenni more tools to create the right plan.
What Can UltraLux Pro Treat?
There are 12 treatment applications available through UltraLux Pro, covering a wide range of common skin, hair and aesthetic concerns.
Here’s a taste of what’s coming to SkinFirst.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation
IPL is already an important part of the SkinFirst treatment offering, but UltraLux Pro takes this one step further with several dedicated IPL applications.
IPL Photo Rejuvenation is designed to improve the appearance of concerns such as fine lines, enlarged pores and uneven skin quality, helping to create a fresher and more even-looking complexion.
It gives us another option for patients who want to improve their skin without dramatically changing how they look.
Pigmentation & Sun Damage
Uneven pigmentation can become increasingly noticeable over time, particularly following repeated sun exposure.
UltraLux Pro includes a dedicated IPL Pigmentation Correction application designed for concerns such as sunspots, visible blemishes and uneven skin tone.
Not every type of pigmentation should be treated in the same way, however, which is why assessment is particularly important.
Before recommending IPL, Nurse Jenni will first look at what is causing the pigmentation and whether treatment is appropriate for your skin.
Redness & Visible Vessels
Persistent redness, flushing and visible vessels can be difficult to disguise and even harder to manage with skincare alone.
The UltraLux Pro IPL Vascular Therapy application gives us another way to approach selected redness and vascular concerns, including facial flushing and visible vascular lesions.
Again, the important part is identifying the concern correctly before deciding whether IPL is the right option.
IPL Acne Management
Acne is complex, and there is rarely one treatment that is right for everybody.
UltraLux Pro includes a dedicated IPL Acne Management application, giving us an additional option that may form part of a wider acne and skin-health plan.
Depending on the individual, that wider plan may also consider skincare, other clinic treatments and the underlying condition of the skin.

A Big Upgrade for Hair Reduction at SkinFirst
Hair reduction isn't new to SkinFirst either – but the arrival of UltraLux Pro gives us three different hair-reduction applications.

Dual-Mode IPL Hair Reduction
IPL Hair Reduction
Having several options allows treatment to be selected according to factors such as the treatment area, hair characteristics and skin type. UltraLux Pro also incorporates skin-contact cooling, designed to make treatments more comfortable.
So rather than simply replacing the IPL treatment we already offer, this is a significant upgrade to our overall hair-reduction service.
New: Professional Tattoo Removal in Warrington
One of the biggest additions coming with UltraLux Pro is professional tattoo removal.
We know that tattoos can become unwanted for all sorts of reasons.
Perhaps something you loved ten years ago no longer feels like you. Maybe you would like an existing tattoo faded ready for a cover-up. Or perhaps you have simply decided you're ready to remove it.
UltraLux Pro provides professional tattoo-removal capability across a broad range of ink types and colours.
Every tattoo is different, so removal isn't a one-size-fits-all process. Factors including the colours used, size, age, location and depth of the tattoo can all influence the treatment plan and expected number of sessions.
That’s why every tattoo-removal journey at SkinFirst will begin with an individual consultation and assessment.
A dedicated Tattoo Removal Warrington treatment service and further information will be launching alongside the new device.
New: Carbon Facials at SkinFirst
We’re also introducing Carbon Facials for the first time.
Sometimes known as a Hollywood Facial or China Doll Facial, the Carbon Facial is an advanced skin-rejuvenation treatment available through the UltraLux Pro platform.
It will provide another option for patients looking to refresh the appearance of their skin and will sit alongside our existing range of personalised facial and skin treatments.
And, as always, we won't recommend it simply because it’s new.
We’ll assess your skin first and determine whether a Carbon Facial – or something else entirely – is most appropriate for the concern you would like to improve.
Skin Tightening & Body Treatments
UltraLux Pro isn't limited to IPL and laser-based treatments.
The platform also incorporates RF Skin Tightening, designed to support smoother and firmer-looking skin on suitable areas of the face and body, as well as Ultrasound Body Contouring for selected body concerns.
It also includes Sonophoresis Skin Care Infusion, which uses ultrasound technology to support the delivery of selected topical skincare products.
These additional technologies give us even greater scope to build treatment plans around the individual rather than trying to use one device or treatment for every concern.
Why Did We Choose UltraLux Pro?
For us, the biggest benefit of UltraLux Pro is versatility.
Skin ageing is rarely caused by one thing.
Pigmentation, redness, texture, collagen loss, reduced firmness and changes in hydration can all contribute to what we see when we look in the mirror.
